When you want to "risk-proof" your next new
product investment.
This enterprising company aspired to develop a breakthrough
education offering combining instructor-led training, media-based
instruction, distance learning and performance support.
However, with limited relevant experience to rely upon, they
sought additional assurance prior to undertaking a full-blown
development effort and market launch.
FUSION developed a "paper
prototype" of the proposed offering, including a purchase
rationale and detailed descriptions of each of the intended
service features. Next, we designed a focus group approach
that let prospects not only evaluate each proposed feature
but come up with ideas for improvement. Then we measured overall
purchase intent.
As an added safety measure, we came up with a way for our
client to emulate the new offering by modifying existing services
and resources. This provided the option of a live market test
to validate the focus group findings.
